Lowcountry Marketplace

We had a great time today at the Lowcountry Marketplace. The Music Farm, where the event is held is a live music venue and bar and not used to seeing the light of day. Needless to say, it was weird and stinky to be in there at 8:30 in the morning, but once all the vendors got moved in, we enjoyed a busy day of holiday buying, selling, and bartering. The pictures are a little dark and hazy and like most of our customers, in need of a bloody mary.... We had a cute (but tight) corner space a little too close to the door with the bbq truck parked outside.... have you ever smelled bbq for 6 hours straight? First let me say that I love bbq. But smelling it all day is nice at first and then not nice for the remaining 5.5 hours. Anyway, lots of sweet vintage pieces found new, happy homes and the t&a clutch and coin purses flew off my table in record time. Now back to the sewing machine to work on custom orders and restock the inventory!
